Artwork Guidelines
To ensure you receive the best quality customisation and avoid unnecessary additional charges and delays, please read our artwork guidelines below.
If you do not have artwork in the correct format for your customisation we can convert your file by re-drawing the artwork for a small fee. At the point of enquiry you will be notified of this prior to any work being carried out.
PRINTING
Vector AI Files and EPS Files
Original vector artwork can be created in graphic design packages such as Adobe Illustrator (AI) and CorelDraw. AI and EPS files are our preferred file types to work with and will generate the best quality and definition when reproducing for garment decoration purposes.
How to tell the difference between Vector AI and EPS files and JPEG, GIFF & TIFF Raster files.
If you zoom in to a Vector file you will see no jagged, pixelated or distortion, the images lines will be very clear. If you zoom in to a Raster image you will see the opposite where clarity is not so sharp and more pixelated.
If asked to supply a Vector AI or EPS file, do not create a JPEG, TIFF or GIFF and convert to an AI or EPS file, as it will still be a Raster file.
PDF files can also be Vector files, however, they must be converted from a Vector AI or EPS file to maintain editable properties.
EMBROIDERY
AI and EPS files are our preferred file types, however, for embroidery purposes a good hi-res JPEG or quality TIFF or GIFF file is adequate for us to set-up a digital embroidery program for our embroidery machines to read.
ARTWORK APPROVAL
On receipt of your artwork, if artwork needs to be re-drawn we will produce an artwork proof for you to check and approve prior to production. If embroidery has been ordered, we will create an embroidery program and run a sample for you to approve prior to production.
